Program Description – SUHUYINI FOUNDATION

SUHUYINI FOUNDATION is a non-profit organisation established in 2024 with the mission to support brilliant but vulnerable children, particularly in the North East Region of Ghana. The Foundation was inspired by the personal experiences of its founder, Bukari Suhuyini Frank Nnyayam, who witnessed and personally endured the struggles faced by many underprivileged students in their pursuit of education.

The Foundation’s core programs focus on educational support, mentorship, and capacity building for children from low-income families. Through the provision of school materials, scholarships, and mentorship sessions, SUHUYINI FOUNDATION aims to reduce school dropout rates and promote equal access to quality education.

In addition, the Foundation organises community outreach initiatives that raise awareness on child welfare, personal development, and the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty. Partnerships with local schools, community leaders, and other development organisations are central to the Foundation’s approach, ensuring that interventions are sustainable and impactful.

Since its inception, SUHUYINI FOUNDATION has supported several students with learning materials and mentorship, helping them to stay in school and pursue their dreams. The Foundation envisions a society where every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
