Project Description: Supporting 15 Vulnerable Girls to Access Education
Jesus Hour Organization is implementing a targeted education support initiative aimed at improving access to quality education for 15 vulnerable girls from underserved communities in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Many girls in these communities face significant barriers to education, including poverty, lack of school materials, family instability, and limited access to psychosocial support. As a result, they are at high risk of school dropout, early marriage, and long-term economic hardship.
This project seeks to address these challenges by providing comprehensive educational support, including payment of school fees, provision of learning materials (such as books, uniforms, and writing supplies), and ongoing mentorship and psychosocial support.
In addition, the program will engage parents and community stakeholders to promote the importance of girls’ education and ensure a supportive learning environment. Regular monitoring will be conducted to track attendance, academic progress, and overall well-being of the beneficiaries.
Through this initiative, Jesus Hour Organization aims to empower these girls with the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities needed to build a better future for themselves and contribute positively to their communities.
Jesus Hour Organization has received recognition from community stakeholders and local partners for its commitment to education support, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives. The organization continues to build credibility through its ongoing grassroots impact and volunteer-driven programs.
