Welcome to Likhon iThemba, a dynamic and passionate young charity dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of underprivileged children and those with special needs. Founded by Kim and Leanne, two individuals with a deep commitment to making a difference, Likhon iThemba is driven by a hands-on approach, actively engaging in five impactful projects.
Our projects include HOLAH Baby House and Home for children with special needs, Bowl of Plenty, Charity Hop Shop, Vikela Baby Saver, and HOLAH Networking. At Likhon iThemba, we don’t believe in simply asking for money; instead, we strive to give our supporters something tangible in return. Through fundraisers and a charity shop selling donated items, we raise funds to support our projects and initiatives.
Kim and Leanne, the heart and soul behind Likhon iThemba, are advocates for adoption and fostering. Drawing from their personal experience of adopting three children through HOLAH Baby House and a similar organization, they offer free advice and assistance to those interested in adoption or fostering. Their hands-on experience enriches our communication and advocacy efforts for adoption.
Our primary beneficiaries are underprivileged children of all ages, and we have a particular focus on supporting those with special needs. We also emphasize support for the biological families of the children under our care, fostering a safe and beneficial environment for the child and their potential adoptive families.
At Likhon iThemba, we are not only dedicated to our projects but also passionate about networking and collaboration. We welcome connections with individuals and organizations involved in the nonprofit sector or those looking to contribute to community development. If you share our enthusiasm for making a positive impact, we invite you to join us in our mission to create a brighter future for the children we serve. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most
