About the Organization
Girl Talk Rehabilitation & Counselling Center is a grassroots charity focused on changing the lives of the most vulnerable girls in Kenya. We provide sanitary towels, mentorship, and educational support, including paying school fees, so that every girl can stay in school and reach her potential.
We support over 1,000 girls across Solai, Salgaa, Kaptembwa, Njoro, and Whitehouse. We acquire a deeper understanding of all of the challenges that make it so difficult for many girls in these areas to get an education, and when it comes time for them to drop out, they are unable to afford the basic necessities they need to fully embrace school Preparing these girls with their basic needs, giving them mentorship, and being able to eradicate the financial burden of school fees, gives them dignity, confidence, and ultimately presents them with more choices in life, with the focus being on them having a brighter future.
