Join us as we celebrate the 3rd annual CSR Awards at CESRA, recognizing and rewarding excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We acknowledge the pivotal role of CSR in fostering sustainability, social, and economic development.

In line with our commitment, CESRA introduces this video contest, offering a platform for our members to showcase impactful initiatives within the communities they serve. Our goal extends beyond highlighting corporate achievements; CESRA aims to catalyze transformative change in the private sector’s approach to CSR, fostering collaboration with all stakeholders. 

Overview of the Video Contest

CESRA has initiated a contest encouraging members to submit entries showcasing specific CSR projects or multiple entries covering various aspects of their CSR activities.

The contest aims to provide a platform for recognizing and celebrating members’ efforts in creating profound positive impacts on individuals, society, and the environment through their CSR programs, presenting a festival of short documentary films highlighting brands pushing the boundaries of CSR excellence in the workplace, with entries limited to 1-2 minutes, including closing credits.

Criteria of Entry

  • Quality of production and clarity of the message
  • Clarity, Relevance, Feasibility, Effectivess, Sustainability, and repicability
  • Present CSR challenge in your city of operations
  • Aligning your video contest with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a fantastic idea to foster awareness, engagement, and action towards global sustainability
  • Please ensure that your CSR Video contest entry includes English subtitles and stays within a duration of 1-3 minutes.

By following these steps, you ensure that your CSR entry is properly completed and contains all the necessary information for the intended purpose.

Selecting a CSR Ambassador is a great way to showcase the commitment and passion of your employees toward corporate social responsibility

This Can be a voluntary employee passionate about CSR.  She will present the company’s CSR initiatives during the gala night of the CSR Expo.  Each nominee will be referred to as Ms. Corporate. How to nominate your CSR Ambassador  

  • Recommended size: 1280 by 720 pixels

  • Minimum width: 600 pixels

  • Supported aspect ratios: 16:9 (horizontal), 9:16 (full portrait), 2:3 (vertical), 4:5 (vertical), square (1:1)

  • Recommended specs: H.264 compression, square pixels, fixed frame rate, progressive scan, stereo AAC audio compression at 128kbps+

  • Duration: 1 to 3 minutes

  • Format: MP4 format

All large, medium, and small-scale organizations and their units are eligible to participate in the CSR Awards contest.

A panel of corporate, agency, and academic executives, along with CESRA staff, will evaluate entries based on creativity, innovation, planning, implementation, outcomes, stakeholder involvement, and overall community benefit.

We are pleased to announce that the application period for the CSR Video Contest runs annually until August 30th.

Winners will be honored and announced during the Gala Night of CSR EXPO 2024.

Mark your calendars and seize this opportunity to showcase your achievements and contribute to our collective commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Winners will be conferred with the following accolades:

  1. Plaque for CSR Champion Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies presented to the top three achievers in each category.

  2. Seal of CSR Excellence: A distinguished emblem denoting CSR Accreditation, intended for prominent display on corporate websites and official documents.

  3. Certificate of Excellence: Accreditation Certificate valid for one year, recognizing outstanding commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Additionally, the esteemed recipient of the Overall CSR Ambassador title shall be honored with a cash reward of $200 and bestowed with the prestigious designation of Miss Corporate Kenya
