Building African Communities Opportunities (BACO) is a community-based organization committed to empowering vulnerable populations and promoting sustainable development in Uganda, particularly within refugee and host communities in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement.

BACO focuses on providing support to vulnerable groups especially children, women, and refugees through programs in education, health, economic empowerment, and psychosocial support. The organization also champions human rights, environmental protection, and long-term community resilience.
Whom We Serve:
Our work primarily targets refugee and host communities in Kikuube District, with special attention to underserved groups such as out-of-school children, youth, women, and people with disabilities.
