What’s Hiding in Always Pads?
In August 2014 Women’s Voices for the Earth commissioned testing of four types of Always menstrual pads, manufactured by Procter & Gamble. The certified laboratory STAT Analysis Corporation analyzed the products for the volatile organic compounds. These data represent the first publicly available test results of this kind of these product. Both scented and unscented Always Ultra Thin pads were tested, as well as scented and unscented Always Infinity.
The results of the testing indicate that both scented and unscented Always pads emit toxic chemicals. Fast forward. in 2019 Always Sanitary Pads has brought an outcry in Kenya.
Under the hashtag #MyAlwaysExperience, Kenyan women have shared their unpleasant experiences with the brand.
They complained of itching, rashes, boils, and burns. Some had tales of embarrassing “leaks”,
Let us give our views Below so that all the testing bodies like KEBS, in Kenya can initiate an investigation into US multinational Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Always brand of sanitary pads.
